Catharine Mirabile

This year’s recipient of the HR Hero Award, Catharine Mirabile has served the Greater Nashua HR Association for the past 15 years in a variety of roles including President, Membership Director and her currently role as the Board Member-at large, serving as our liaison with SHRM and collaborating on projects as needed. She has shared her extensive experience with the chapter by presenting on different topics over the years. As a SHRM Advocacy Team Captain, she has educated our chapter on the value and great need for advocacy in our state. Catharine’s passion for HR knows no bounds. In addition to her work on the GNHRA board and the SHRM Advocacy Team, Catharine has been active on HR State Council of New Hampshire. Not only does Catharine care about HR matters in New Hampshire, after her term as the State Council Director ended, she was voted in to serve as the Northeast Membership Advisory Council (MAC) Representative for SHRM, representing eleven states within the Northeast region. In that role, Catharine takes the concerns of the eleven states to SHRM to impact changes within the SHRM organization as well as nationally. Catharine is sought out by HR professionals across the state for advice and counsel on concerns they are facing personally and at their organizations. Her easy-going style and sense of humor make her very approachable, but her vast knowledge makes her the subject matter expert on all things HR. She genuinely wants to help other succeed and does everything she can to support their efforts. Her other volunteer roles include serving as the President of NAPBA (National Association of Professional Benefit Administrators), on the Board of Trustees with Catholic Charities New Hampshire and serving as Past-Director for the HR State Council of New Hampshire. Catharine exemplifies a true HR Hero and is well deserving of this recognition.
